The emergency planning unit (EPU) forms part of the office of the chief executive based at Civic Centre Wolverhampton.

The EPU works closely with emergency services, utility companies and voluntary organisations to ensure effective and efficient arrangements to protect our community and environment prior to and during an emergency.

The following pages aim to give information about the work of the unit and useful advice and information for members of the community to prepare themselves for emergencies.
